October Half-Term Fun at Holme Pierrepont Country Park
Looking for something fun and affordable to do this October half-term? Come along to Holme Pierrepont Country Park and enjoy a range of activities for just £1 per person!
From Saturday 17th October to Sunday 1st November, activities will be available from 11am to 4pm, giving you plenty of time to get outdoors, try something new and enjoy a great-value family day out.
Activities from Just £1
Bring the family along and have a go at:
Mini Golf – £1 per person
Outdoor Badminton – £1 per person
Orienteering, including map – £1 per person
Fishing - £5 per person
No Booking Needed
The best part? There’s no need to book the £1 activities in advance. Simply turn up during opening hours, choose what you’d like to have a go at and pay on the day.
We'll also be offering additional activities closer to the time so please keep an eye on our social channels and here on our website to see the full range of activities.

Free Activities
There’s plenty to enjoy once you’ve finished your £1 activities. Explore over 270 acres of beautiful Country Park, get some fresh air and enjoy the great outdoors at Holme Pierrepont Country Park.
You can also let the little ones burn off some energy at one of Nottingham’s best playparks, located right next to our Outdoor Adventure Zone.
Fishing in our Lagoon
As part of our October half-term offering - we're bringing Fishing back to Holme Pierrepont Country Park!
Fishing will be available in our Lagoon during our opening hours. Come and speak to our team on reception who will be able to show you the available space to fish.
Please be aware of paddlers in the Lagoon and please show respect to all fellow visitors at all times.
Fishing will cost £5 per person during October half-term - just come and see us at the White Water reception and we'll get you started.
White Water Rafting
Looking to make even more of your visit? Why not take on the rapids with White Water Rafting at the National Water Sports Centre?
It’s an unforgettable experience and a great way to add some extra adventure to your day. Advance booking is required.
Plus, we're offering a special price during October half-term with exclusive Raft hire from just £199 on selected dates!
