Meet the Team 

Here at Holme Pierrepont Country Park Gym we aim to make your fitness routine the easiest and the best, in a challenging way. 

We'll be publishing profiles of our gym team here soon and their specialist subjects, so if you want to bulk up, run a marathon,  or just lose a bit of weight you can speak to an expert on the topic.

Level 2 fitness instructor

I want to encourage all ages, but especially older people to improve their fitness and enhance their lives.

My favourite exercise is the ice cream maker. Why? You will have to ask me, when you see me in the gym!


My favourite quote is:
“The longest way round is sometimes the shortest way there.”

As first a member of the gym and then an instructor with the gym team, I have a unique perspective on how the gym works.

My favourite thing about working in fitness is pushing people past limits they’d set themselves, then making them realise, with a little work and the right attitude, just what they’re capable of.

I’ve got a range of exercise that I love. I’m currently trying to master the Human Flag. Ask me what that is, when you see me in the gym.

My top nutrition advice is to prepare! The number one way to avoid unhealthy eating habits is to have healthy food ready to go.

My key quote is:

I love working with people one to one, getting to know them, understanding their needs and helping them to achieve their goals or overcome barriers, whatever they may be.

My Favourite Exercise is… burpees! Enough said.

No matter who you are and what your goals are, I can help you get to where you want to be. I have experience of working with both cardiovascular and strength training. I also have experience of stress management as well as mental health conditions.
