Severe Fire Risk

Nottinghamshire is currently experiencing a period of severe fire risk. BBQ's and open fires are strictly prohibited throughout the country park.

Within the campsite, BBQ's are permitted only when raised off the ground, properly supervised and with a suitable means of extinguishing a fire available nearby.

If you see signs of smoke or fire, call 999 immediately. Please help us protect our park, woodland and wildlife during this period of heightened risk.

Holme Pierrepont Country Park, home of the National Water Sports Centre is a venue for a whole range of exciting events each year!

Below are a list of events being held throughout 2026. This gives our members and the general public the chance to see what events are happening throughout the year.

See below how the event impacts the usage of site – all events are open to spectators. Car parking charges apply.

Open Event: Please visit the event organiser's website for details on how to register to take part in the event
Closed Event: This event is for invitees only
Shared Use: The Regatta Lake or White Water Course can be used by members and customers during this time
Exclusive Use: The Regatta Lake or White Water Course is closed to members and the customers due to an event.

Unless stated otherwise, members may still use the Regatta Lake and the White Water Course.
