
The National Water Sports Centre has a range of Internationally recognised RYA courses available on-site.
Using our world famous 2km Regatta Lake and range of powered craft we will teach you everything you need to know to competently drive a boat by yourself.
Powerboats are fast, fun and contrary to popular belief very easy to access. Whether your looking to cover safety at events, go traveling around the coastlines of Britain or just want to get involved in a new and exciting hobby, the National Water Sports Centre has the right course for you.
Once you have booked your course our chief instructor will contact you to ask you more questions so we can register you with the RYA prior to your course commencement so please ensure you have provided us with a correct telephone number to contact you.
On the day of your course, please bring two passport sized photos otherwise your qualification will not be processed.

How Old Do I Have To Be To Take Part In A Powerboat Course?
Individuals can take part in a level 1 powerboat course from 12 - 16 years old. Individuals from 16 years old can take a level 2 course. All other courses and full licences can be obtained from 16 years.

The National Water Sports Centre can offer inland courses only.
