My name is Zander Jones and I work part time at the cableway where I operate and coach wakeboarding, wakeskating, knee boarding and water skiing when I am not at Sixth Form or wakeskating myself!

I have been riding for four years and have just been selected for the GB Development Squad, if I keep riding well I will hopefully be selected for the GB team for the European and World Championships.

Wakeskating is a bit like skateboarding only on water, we do many of the same tricks, unlike wakeboarding we are not attached to our boards we wear skate shoes. I compete all over the country against the best wakeskaters in the country and have ridden at the Wakestock Festival for the last two years in front of thousands of festival goers.
