Nottingham Rowing Club, Home of Champions


Come and train with one of our groups of athletes working towards Junior, U23 and Senior Rowing Squads.


Seniors and U23 programmes are run by Dez Atkins, Head Coach, and are suitable for both students and those in full or part-time employment. This group operate on the River Trent and from the centre.

The British Rowing Start centre in this region, run by Julie Edwards, is hosted by Nottingham Rowing Club and the programme is for tested athletes with potential to reach the GB Senior Team, operating at NWSC.

 Junior Squads bring on committed rowers from the ages of 13 to 18, from beginners through to performance  athletes aiming to compete in the National Schools Regatta and British Championships Regatta. Training on the River and on the 2000m regatta lake at the centre
