Nottingham Clarion

Nottingham Clarion is a friendly club, open to all ages and all types of cyclist, from beginners to racers, mountain bikers, leisure riders and families. It is an organisation run by volunteers to support the interests of cyclists, whatever their ability.

Recently Nottingham Clarion Cycling Club has become permanently “resident” at Holme Pierrepont. This gives us the scope to offer all kinds of activities to a wide range of ages and abilities.

Since being involved with the water sports centre for the last few years, we have seen the club go from strength to strength due in no small part to the co-operation and support of the management and staff at the venue.

We hold holiday programmes and Go Ride racing events in conjunction with the British Cycling regional team who have been very supportive with our efforts to attain full “Club Mark” status which we have now achieved.

There are also plans for introducing satellite after school clubs to forge ongoing links between the club and its local schools.

We regularly have riders from all age groups taking part in all forms of the sport both locally and further a field.
