TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

1. The National Water Sports Centre reserves the right to suspend or cancel an activity at any time in the event of an activity being unsafe to operate. This may be due to adverse weather conditions, environment agency and equipment failure. The National Water Sports Centre is not responsible for any other costs howsoever incurred by the person making this booking or any other individuals.

2. All participants must be able to swim in light clothing and be confident in open water.

   • Certain age, height and weight restrictions apply to a number of activities. Theses are listed below.
   • No person under the age of 8 may participant in any activity
   • White Water Rafters must be between 14 years old and 65 years old and have a chest size less
   • than 48 inches & maximum weight 18 stone or 114kg.
   • Water Skiers must be 1.2m tall and above and have a chest size of less than 48 inches
   • Those enrolling on RYA, BCU courses must be over the age of 14 years with the exception of RYA powerboat course where all participants must be over the age of 16.

3. No refunds or changes of date will be given on activities 14 days before your activity date.

4. All under 18’s must provide a parental/guardian consent form prior to the activity. This must be handed to the activity instructor prior to the commencement of the activity.

5. All participants must adhere to any instructions given by the Centre staff at all times

6. Any persons (at the sole discretion of the activity instructor) who are thought to be under the influence of alcohol and/ or drugs will be prohibited from participating in any activity and no refund will be offered.

7. The Centre advises all participants /group leaders to contact the Site to check on current weather and operational  conditions prior to traveling.

8. The Centre reserves the right to refuse any participants access to any activity should they be wearing unsuitable clothing or at the sole discretion of the activity instructor deemed to be unsafe to participate.

10. All bookings accepted by the National Water Sports Centre are not transferable or for resale.

11. No provisional bookings are accepted. Payment is taken at the time of booking by credit/debit cards. Please note that the National Watersports Centre uses an online booking service. £4 from the total price of your activity is your booking fee and is NOT Refundable under any circumstances.
