TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
1. The National Water Sports Centre reserves the right to suspend or cancel an activity at any time in the event of an activity being unsafe to operate. This may be due to adverse weather conditions, environment agency and equipment failure. The National Water Sports Centre is not responsible for any other costs howsoever incurred by the person making the booking or any other individuals.
2. All participants must be:
o 8 years of age or over to participate in any activity that the centre offers
o Able to swim in light clothing
o Confident in open water
o Less than 48 inches in chest size
o Less than 18stone or 114kg in weight
3. White water rafting participants must be over 14years old and under 65 years old
4. Water ski cableway participants must be 1.2m or above in height
5. No refunds or changes of date will be given on activities cancelled or amended fourteen days before your activity date and seven days for ski tow cableway, unless cancelled by the National Water Sports Centre for and of the reasons outlined in clause 1.
6. All participants under 18 year olds must provide a parental/guardian consent form prior to a pre-booked instructor lead activity/course. This must be handed to the session instructor prior to the commencement of the activity/course.
7. All participants must adhere to all instructions given by the Centre staff at all times
8. Any persons (at the sole discretion of the activity instructor) who are thought to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs will be prohibited from participating in any activity and no refund will be offered.
9. It is the responsibility of the person making the booking that all participants have read and understood the following information
o Activity information including numbers booked and starting times
o Important Notice to Water Users
10. All bookings accepted by the National Water Sports Centre are not for re-sale or transferable
11. No provisional bookings are accepted, payment is required at the time of the booking by credit/debit card.
12. Once a National Water Sports Centre E-Voucher has been purchased no refunds can be given.
13. To extend a National Water Sports E-Voucher before it goes out of date will cost £10.00 per voucher
14. If a National Water Sports E-Voucher is out of date, but is within one month of the expiry date then the voucher can be extended at a cost of £15.00 per voucher. Once the e-voucher is one month past the expiry date then the voucher will be void with no extension or refund available.
15. You can only extend National Water Sport Centre E-Vouchers once, you will be unable to extend them any more.
16. If you have booked an activity/course with any gift voucher and we cancel the activity/course you will only be able to re-book for the current season through the booking office. No refunds we be given on any vouchers on cancelled sessions.
17. When booking activities/courses with vouchers, the activity/course must be booked with in the validation date of the voucher.
18. You must use all the voucher credit in one transaction, you will be unable to receive change or book with the same voucher at a later date.
