With over 30 years experience the National Water Sports Centre fully understands the needs of athletes in preparation for a major competition and with world class facilities it means everything you could need is provided at this unique and stunning venue Within the site is a 2km regatta lake which regularly hosts national and international rowing and canoe/kayak sprint competitions and a recently upgraded white water course which staged the European Canoe Slalom Championships in May this year and was regarded by many of the athletes as ‘one of the best in the world’.

Other facilities include 60 bed athlete accommodation, catering services freshly prepared to meet the training/dietary requirements of elite athletes, a well equipped gymnasium,  an indoor sports hall, five conference rooms equipped with the latest technology ideal for video analysis, first rate facilities for Paralympics athletes and dedicated medical rooms for private use.

The National Water Sports Centre is just 10 minutes from the vibrant and stylish Nottingham City Centre and yet is set in a tranquil 270 acre country park where you can completely focus on your training.  Situated at the heart of the United Kingdom, Nottinghamshire is served by 2 local airports and a rail and motorway network, all of which make London easily accessible in less than two hours.
