New for 2012 we have created packages specifically designed to allow schools to bring higher number of students to enjoy the activities we have on offer activities.

 

Activity Selection Package

With this package you choose two activities from the following:

*Adventure Activity Course *Bell Boating *Canoeing *Kayaking *Problem Solving *Raft Builiding

Each activity will last an hour with a thirty minute break inbetween to allow the students to change for their next activity.  

If you bring 8 to 20 participants the cost per person is £25.00

If you bring 21 or more participants the cost per person is £20.00

 

Triple Fun Day Package

With the Triple Fun Day you get three one and a half hour activity sessions and a free packed lunch.  The activities included in this package are *Bell Boating *Adventure Activity *Raft Building

If you bring 8 to 20 participants the cost per person is £35.00

If you bring 21 or more participants the cost per person is £30.00

The packed lunch that is provided with the Triple Fun Day and the Wave Rider includes *One Sandwich *A Packet of Crisps *An Apple * A Chocolate Bar * A Juice Carton.

 

The Wave Rider

The Wave Rider package includes four one and a half hour activity sessions and a free packed lunch.  The activities included in this package are *Bell Boating *Raft Building *Water Skiing *Adventure Activity Course

If you bring 8 to 20 participants the cost per person is £40.00

If you bring 21 or more participants the cost per person is £35.00

 

RYA Sailing Courses

To encourage young people to develop skills other than those taught with in the classroom the National Water Sports Centre is offering RYA Sailing Stage 1 and 2 courses.

RYA Stage 1 is a one day course and will teach the student all the basics of sailing including how to rig, launch, sail, steer and turn the dinghy.

RYA Stage 2 is a two day course and this will develop the skills taught on the Stage 1 course as well as how to control the speed of the dinghy, to cope with a capsize, recovery from a capsize and learn the correct terminology when sailing.

We can offer these courses at a vastly reduced price of £50.00 per person per course, as long as you book a minimum of 6 people per course.

 

 

All of the activities are suitablefor any child who is aged 8 years or over, can swim and is confident in water. 

The centre has a dedicated team of professional’s who can tailor activity to fit individual circumstances and would be happy to work with each school to ensure that children achieve the required outcomes from the visit.  Our activities use sport to promote life skills, increase social values and encourage healthy behaviour and team work.
